Introducing the Masiero Posy Lighting Collection
Posy is defined by a simple but distinctive design idea: a spherical glass diffuser balanced on a slender metal structure. This contrast between the rounded form and fine metal lines gives the collection its identity.
Designed by Sara Moroni for Masiero's Dimore collection, Posy combines a galvanic metal structure with a white opal Murano triplex glass diffuser. The result is a lighting design that brings together Italian craftsmanship, clean geometry and softly diffused illumination.
Glass and Metal: The Defining Features of Posy
The character of Posy comes from the relationship between its two main elements. The slender metal stem provides a fine visual structure, while the white opal glass sphere creates a soft, rounded focal point.
The white opal Murano triplex glass diffuser gives the light a softly diffused quality. Its smooth, spherical form also creates a clear contrast with the metal finish, allowing the design to stand out without relying on elaborate detailing.
Six Lighting Formats for Different Interior Settings
The Posy collection is available in different lighting formats, each offering a distinct way to use the same design language. From a pendant above a table to a floor lamp beside a seating area, the collection allows the sphere-and-stem form to be introduced at different heights and positions within a room.
| Lighting Format | Possible Interior Use | Product |
|---|---|---|
| Pendant Lamp | Dining areas, living spaces and selected focal points | Masiero Posy Pendant Lamp |
| Table Lamp | Console tables, bedside tables and side tables | Masiero Posy Table Lamp |
| Wall Light | Living rooms, bedrooms, passages and selected wall spaces | Masiero Posy Wall Light |

How to Use Posy Lighting in Interior Styling
Dining Rooms and Kitchen Islands
The pendant and linear suspension formats can be considered above dining tables and kitchen islands. Their slender metal structures and opal glass diffusers offer a defined lighting presence without making the fitting look visually heavy. The linear format is particularly relevant when the surface below calls for a longer lighting arrangement.
Living Rooms and Reading Corners
The floor lamp can be used beside a lounge chair or sofa, while the table lamp offers another way to introduce the Posy design on a side table or console. These formats allow the collection's rounded glass form to become part of the room's styling, even when ceiling lighting is not the main focus.
Bedrooms and Bedside Styling
The table lamp and wall light formats can be considered for bedroom settings. Their compact design language can complement bedside furniture, while the softly diffused glass creates a gentler lighting effect for the room.
Passages and Feature Walls
The wall light offers a way to bring the Posy form into passages, entrance areas and selected wall spaces. Repeating the same lighting design at considered intervals can also create visual continuity along a longer wall.
