Description

A delicate meeting of craft and contemporary light, the Fregio Suspension Lamp celebrates the timeless language of ornament in a modern pendant. Hand-formed ceramic panels, enriched with a floral bas-relief, wrap a subtle metal structure to create a lamp that reads as both sculpture and luminous object. The result is an object that feels at once classic and unexpectedly fresh.

Designed by Andrea Anastasio in collaboration with the historic Bottega Gatti in Faenza and produced in Italy by Foscarini, Fregio contrasts artisanal ceramic workmanship with contemporary LED technology. Two practical straps at the ends of the piece become visual connectors, turning industrial references into poetic details and giving the lamp a distinctive, narrative quality.

Fregio is ideal where a refined, tactile centrepiece is required—entrances, gallery spaces or dining rooms benefit from its quiet sculptural presence and soft, even illumination. It embodies Foscarini’s ability to bridge tradition and innovation, bringing handcraft into contemporary interiors.
