Demetra (Limited Edition)
Description
An elegant fusion of ancient myth and cutting-edge craft, the Demetra sculpture melds warm bronze with pristine Italian Majella stone in a fluid, organic form. Named after Demeter, the Greek goddess of fertility, the piece gestures toward cycles of creation and renewal. Made in Belgium by Gardeco, it marries tradition and innovation in a sculptural story of material harmony.
Designed by Armando Di Nunzio in collaboration with artist-architect Alessandro Peritore, Demetra leverages clay modeling, 3D scanning, and AI-assisted design to achieve its sinuous curves and dynamic presence. Limited to just 25 pieces in celebration of Gardeco’s 25th anniversary, each work is individually signed, numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity—making it both collectible and profound in artistic resonance.
Armando Di Nunzio, hailing from the ‘City of White Stone’ in Abruzzo, Italy, comes from a lineage of master stone-carvers. His deep connection to the Majella mountains is expressed through material fluency and emotional subtlety in bronze. In collaboration with **Alessandro Peritore**, whose architectural background and fascination with AI inform the design’s generation, they create a dialogue between nature, technology, and mythology.
