DSQUARED2 Canadian Forest is born out of the creative vision of twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten. Hailing from Willowdale Ontario, the duo moved to New York City in 1983 to attend Parson’s School of Design, and eight years later they followed their dream to work in Italy, the birthplace of their father. After collaborating with diverse luxury fashion brands, in 1995 they launched their first men’s collection under the label. This collection marked the debut of their theatrical and unique runway shows, combining fashion, entertainment and music, and capturing the attention of worldwide fashion press and buyers. presented their first women’s collection in 2003, in 2006 they began creating their first fragrance, in 2012 added beachwear and underwear collections, followed by Dsquared2 Kids in 2013. design philosophy draws inspiration from a mix of their Canadian roots, Italian tailoring and all-out glamour.
