Description

Baby Moon Glass Sculpture by Anna Torfs is a hand-blown glass art object with captured bubbles, bringing texture, light and sculptural form to luxury interiors.

Originally designed in 2004, Baby Moon explores the relationship between glass and light through a compact, rounded form. The glass contains a multitude of captured bubbles, creating pockets of air within the solid material. As light passes through the form, the bubbles reflect and scatter it, giving the surface a subtle, almost silver-like lustre and a sense of movement within the glass.

Available in clear and bronze, Baby Moon has a quiet, substantial presence that works beautifully on a console, sideboard, coffee table or shelf. The smaller form can sit naturally within a layered arrangement, while the larger version makes a stronger individual statement. Its rounded silhouette and internal bubbles reveal different details as the light and viewing angle change.
