Inspired by the timeless elegance of Ming Dynasty aesthetics, this innovative piece transforms traditional tableware into a sculptural decorative object.

Composed of seven stackable dishes that together form the graceful outline of a Ming vase, the Ming Lin Stack Table creates a captivating visual illusion. When fully assembled, its monochrome lacquered appearance intrigues and surprises, appearing as a sculptural vase or ceremonial urn. Once opened, the layered plates and bowls reveal an immersive graphic universe that transforms dining into an artistic experience.

Ming Muse marks the second collaboration between Maison Ibride and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid. Continuing the artistic dialogue established through the Yuan Eden collection, Ming Muse explores the timeless idea of the muse as a source of inspiration, beauty, mystery, and imagination.

Inspired by the feminine portraiture of Hans Baldung Grien, designer Rachel Convers created a poetic visual narrative where butterflies with richly pigmented wings surround an enigmatic figure whose pale complexion recalls delicate Chinese porcelain. Her identity remains unknown, symbolising ideal beauty, mystery, and artistic fascination throughout time.

The pink carnation featured within the composition represents love and union, while the interior garden invites viewers into the artistic universe of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. Through layered imagery and sculptural storytelling, Ming Muse becomes both a collectible design object and an immersive artistic installation.

The Ibride tableware collection plays with perception by transforming elegant china-inspired forms into interactive decorative pieces. Once separated, Ming, Yuan, and Qing reveal hidden graphic narratives that enrich aperitifs, dining experiences, and curated interior settings.
