The first day of Season 3 of The Wedding Collective Mumbai brought an enthusiastic response to Spacio’s participation in The Home Edit — a carefully curated selection of luxury home decor, collectible objects, statement centrepieces, tableware and gifting pieces created for couples beginning a new chapter together.
Curated by Janvi Javeri of Walls & Things from Spacio’s wider collection, the Home Edit brought together objects selected not simply because they make beautiful wedding gifts, but because they can become part of a couple’s home long after the celebration is over. The selection encouraged visitors to imagine a Murano sculpture on a console, crystal figures in a newlywed bedroom, a decorative ginger jar on a sideboard, candlelight transforming a dining table, or fine glassware becoming part of the couple’s first celebrations at home.

The Murano Ganesha That Became the Centre of Attention
The strongest highlight of Day 1 was undoubtedly the Ganesh Calcedonio XL Murano Glass Sculpture. The piece repeatedly drew visitors towards the Home Edit, becoming one of the most talked-about objects at the exhibition.
Its appeal went beyond its size and striking Murano glass craftsmanship. The form of Ganesha carries an immediate cultural resonance in India, while the use of Venetian glass transforms a familiar symbol into a highly refined collectible sculpture. It is precisely this meeting of cultural meaning and European craftsmanship that made the piece such a strong conversation starter.
