Description

Geisha Blue Small by Annie Delemarle is a leather sculpture inspired by the traditional Japanese Geisha, with layered robes, rich blue tones and fine detailing.

An essential character in traditional Japanese culture from the 16th century, the Geisha represents elegance and refinement. Annie Delemarle interprets this cultural figure through a sculptural form made from leather, with carefully layered robes, a structured hairstyle and intricate details across the clothing.

The Blue version combines rich blue leather with darker patterned sections and gold-toned edging. The seated figure, flowing sleeves and extended robe create a sense of movement, while the concealed face keeps the focus on the silhouette, clothing and craftsmanship. At 40 cm wide, the sculpture works beautifully on a console, sideboard, shelf or display cabinet.

The Geisha collection also includes the Geisha Pink Small and the larger Geisha Large Pink, offering the same character in different colours and proportions.
