The Moire Collection from LCD Textile Edition is available in various colour combinations.

The LCD Collection is a limited edition of fabrics handmade from “hijacked” technical fibres and metal. The fabrics are produced in Belgium. The collection is dedicated to light.

The use of copper filament in LCD fabrics has been a constant across all the collections. Beyond its infinite aesthetic possibilities, this semi-precious metal has conductive as well as shielding properties that make it ideal for the many electronic devices in our daily lives. Its presence in special edition textiles contributes to balance and protection in both private and professional spaces.

The collection is dedicated to light. All the textiles are translucent and can be used either in spaces around windows and transparent settings such as blinds, screens, and dividers, on walls, or for seating. They can also be used for spectacular garments in haute couture and theatre, or fashion accessories such as hats and bags. Woven in high-tech specialist workshops, the LCD Collection is suitable for private home decoration as well as larger-scale projects in the hotel industry, window displays, boutiques, theatres, and restaurants, where technical specifications, standards, and customised visuals are required.

Luc Druez is a textile research consultant. His work, whether artistic or industrial, experiments with mixing natural and technical fibres to maximise their uniqueness under a light.
