Black Owl

Black Owl is a handcrafted black crystal sculpture from the Safari Sculptures series by Maleras, designed by Mats Jonasson. Mouth-blown and sandblasted by hand in Sweden, the sculpture captures the distinctive form and watchful character of an owl through a combination of smooth contours and textured crystal.

The sandblasted surface gives the black crystal a softly frosted appearance, while the carefully defined eyes and facial details create a striking sense of expression. Signed on the bottom, Black Owl reflects the craftsmanship and sculptural precision associated with Maleras' hand-worked crystal pieces.
