Murano Glass sculpture of 2 seagulls on a stand with colorful, wavy design on a gray background by Zanetti at Spacio in India.

Seagulls Calcedonio Small

Description

Seagulls Calcedonio Small is a handcrafted Murano glass sculpture by Zanetti, capturing two seagulls in flight through sweeping, sculptural forms in richly coloured Calcedonio glass.

The flowing wings are shaped in layered shades of amber, violet, red and smoky tones, creating a sense of movement and lightness. Transparent glass supports give the composition an almost weightless quality, allowing the expressive forms and distinctive colour variations of the Calcedonio glass to take centre stage.

With its dynamic composition and elegant vertical presence, Seagulls Calcedonio Small makes a distinctive collectible art object for a console, sideboard, bookshelf or other prominent surface.

Its larger scale and dynamic vertical composition make Seagulls Calcedonio a distinctive statement piece for a console, sideboard, entrance or other prominent surface. Pair it with Seagulls Calcedonio Large to create a larger flock of seagulls, bringing greater movement and visual rhythm to the arrangement.

About Zanetti

Zanetti Murano is an Italian glass studio from Murano, Venice, with four generations of glassmaking heritage dating back to 1956. Maestro Oscar Zanetti was born into this tradition and began working with glass at 14, later refining his craft at renowned Murano ateliers including Venini and La Murrina before joining the family workshop.

Inspired by his enduring interest in the natural world, Oscar Zanetti creates handcrafted Murano glass sculptures drawn from the flora and fauna of the Venetian Lagoon. From horses and birds to fish, animals and abstract forms, each piece is shaped by hand using traditional blown and solid glass techniques. In India, Zanetti Murano was launched by Spacio, bringing Oscar Zanetti's distinctive glass artistry to Indian interiors.
