Nagel Candle Holder Brushed Brass Single

Description

Nagel Candle Holder Brushed Brass Single by STOFF Nagel is an iconic modular solid brass candle holder with a sculptural 1960s design and refined brushed finish for modern and minimalist decor.

Created in Cologne in the 1960s by architect and designer Werner Stoff for Hans Nagel, the iconic candle holder traces its distinctive form to an impression made in snow. After a fall during a skiing trip in the Alps, Nagel noticed the symmetrical marks left by three fingers. Stoff transformed this idea into the ingenious three-legged, stackable system that allows individual pieces to become larger sculptural compositions.

Made from solid brass with a brushed finish, this edition brings a softer, understated expression to the celebrated design. Display a single piece with a taper candle or connect several Nagel Candle Holders to create personalised arrangements for dining tables, coffee tables, consoles and other modern or minimalist interiors.

About Stoff Nagel

STOFF Nagel is a Danish design brand that revives the iconic modular candle holder created by Werner Stoff for Hans Nagel in the 1960s. Its distinctive three-legged form can be stacked and combined in countless ways, turning a functional object into a sculpture shaped by its owner.

Today, the STOFF Nagel collection brings together rediscovered designs from the 1960s and 1970s with contemporary additions, including candle holders, bowls, vases and stands. Designed to be combined, rearranged and continually reinterpreted, each piece explores the relationship between form, light and personal expression.
